As a licensed architect for over 25 years, Boye’s professional experience covers an extensive range of commercial and residential building types that include offices, retail, healthcare, mixed-use, church and single-family and multi-family residential designs. His unique visionary design and marketing talents have elevated the status of Boye Akinola Design Group in the national real estate market. As Principal and CEO, Boye directs the design of projects, marketing, business and financial operations and business development services of the firm, project management, and real estate development. He also lends his 20 year experience in commercial and residential construction to ensure the highest quality of execution of the firm’s construction drawings. As Master-Builder, Akinola manages construction and development activities of the firm.
Boye’s professional involvement includes a focus on designing and developing city centers and
greyfield/greenfield suburban communities. Boye’s talent (along with prominent Atlanta builders and developers such as John Wieland Homes, Integral Group, Ryland Homes, Trammel Crow Residential) is
evident in his designs of trend-setting and essential quality commercial, retail, healthcare, single-family and multi-family residential buildings and communities throughout
underserved African-American neighborhoods of South Metro Atlanta. Boye, along with the team at bA Design Architects dba BOYE Architecture, was recognized by the Atlanta Union Mission for their

Akinola won “Best Architectural Design” award at the Street of Dreams 2004. Another highlight in Boye’s career is
visionary design and development of the first office building (the $6.3m Stonecrest Medical Promenade Building) at Stonecrest Mall community of South Dekalb County (growing eastern suburb of
